FINALLY! I managed to make the post for Toni's Birthday cake. We had this delicious apple-vanilla dream when she had her party. Since I know that dry cakes are nothing for our lovely Toni, I decided to make moist apple-pudding rolls baked in one baking pan. To make it even more a dream the cake has a white chocolate topping. Have fun baking it!!

Time flies. Only three days left until christmas eve. I hope you enjoyed our little Advent-special as much as we did! Today we give you our very last recipe for christmas cookies: Vanilla Crescent Cookies!! Nutty, vanilla flavoured and with tons of powder sugar. Enjoy them!
Have nice christmas holidays and enjoy the time with your friends and family!! Viva México again! When you had a bad day because nothing went like it should go, this meal is perfect as a dinner in the evening as it is always a success!
One week ago on the 5th (sorry, we are all christmas-stressed-out, so the post is coming a bit late) we followed a Dutch tradition and had a little Sinterklaas celebration. Since celebrating without food is just half the fun, we thought that something quick and easy but also fancy would be nice to have. We improvised a bit and proudly present now our "Fancy Baguette Burger"!! Delicious minced meat, fresh tomatoes, arugula and cucumber, self-made green pesto and a topping of parmesan... Have fun! If you make more of the pesto than in the recipe, you can eat the day after pasta with pesto: super simple and very tasty!
Grandma’s cookies are simply the best! That’s why be baked for our third Advent-special these wonderful fluffy cookies. The recipe comes from Kathi’s granny. Every year it’s a pleasure again to bake them.
In ten days is already Christmas! Are you as excited as we are? You maybe wonder: this is not a recipe-post. This time we want to show you the market in Groningen and inspirate you food-lovers to maybe walk through the stalls the next time. You will see, the food you can get on the market is delicious and the ingredients you are ably to buy there are so tasty!
As promised, here our second recipe for christmas cookies! If you missed our first one click here! We hope that you all liked the coconut macaroons and are ready for the second round: Classic Christmas Cookies. Christmas would not be christmas without some cut out butter - cookies. You can give them a topping with whatever you want: chocolate, lemon-glaze, sprinkles, brittles... or enjoy them in their purest form!! Have fun and a nice Advent-Sunday!
Have yourself a merry little christmas! Viva México! We had these awesome burritos a few days ago. They are wonderful spicy, easy to make and just delicious. Particularly if you have friends at your house and you want to make a nice and special dinner but don’t want to pay too much time on it, this dish is a great choice! Moreover, you can add whatever you like, there are a million of options: zucchinis, carrots, another sauce, peppers…Go crazy again :D
This is a simple, but absolutly tasty pan-dish. The peanut butter gives it a creamy taste, the carrots add some freshness and the chili makes it spicey!! So it is a perfect combination of ingredients that make a wonderful meal. We hope you enjoy this kind of winter-dish!!
Smoothies are a great way to re-energize after University or sport. Especially now in the winter your body lacks vitamines, so use smoothies to refill your batteries. Of course they are not only healthy, but also super tasty!! You can use whatever fruit you have at home. You can also use frozen fruits like strawberries, you still have in the freezer from the summer time or you can buy them in the supermarket. Try it out!
