Smoothies are a great way to re-energize after University or sport. Especially now in the winter your body lacks vitamines, so use smoothies to refill your batteries. Of course they are not only healthy, but also super tasty!! You can use whatever fruit you have at home. You can also use frozen fruits like strawberries, you still have in the freezer from the summer time or you can buy them in the supermarket. Try it out!
For 2 glasses:
What you need:
Fruits like:
2 bananas
1 hand of frozen strawberries
1 hand of frozen rasberries
250ml Milk or milk and yoghurt
some honey to sweeten it if you like
some oatmeal or protein powder as a topping if you like
How to do it:
1. Put bananas, strawberries, rasberries, milk (or milk and yoghurt) and some honey if you like in a high pot and puree everything with a hand-held blender until it is smooth (that is why it is called smoothie, haha)
2. Put the smoothie in a glass an topp it with oatmeal or protein powder if you like. Then it is more filling, and gives you some extra power.
