I baked this cake for our lovely Kathi because it was her birthday and I wanted to bring something to eat for her party. As Kathi loves cinnamon, I baked a cinnamon-cake with a lot of cherries and chocolate. Have fun with baking it and take care to not get a cinnamon-flash! :D
Time: approx. 20 minutes and 70 min in the oven
Difficulty: easypeasy
Difficulty: easypeasy
For the cake:
300 g sugar
4 eggs
320 g flour
1 pack. Vanilla sugar
1/2 pack. Baking powder
1/4 liters of oil
4 tsp cinnamon
1 apple
1 glass cherries
chocolate (I took a half of a dark-chocolate and a quarter of a chocolate with raisins and nuts but it's up to you! Go crazy!)
How to do it:
1. Drain the cherries, peel the apple, remove seeds and cut the apple into cubes.
2. Then mix the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon, using a hand mixer. Add the flour, baking powder and mix again.
3. Put the fruit and choclate mix into the dough and fill the mixture into a baking form. I recommend you to grease the form beforehand.
4. Bake the cake about 70 minutes at 175 degrees in a preheated oven.
ENJOY!!
